US vibes master Joe Locke named this quartet Amaranth after a plant because – like the plant itself - this band is a seasonal perennial which flowers once a year to share its offering!
This European-American quartet is currently set to tour Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany & the UK and Joe enthuses that ‘the occasion of our meeting is joyful and meaningful for the four of us and always results in some special music.’
